These are the values, or pillars, that, in concert with our Mission and Statement of Faith, will guide our actions and decisions for everything we do as a ministry. These are ranked in order of priority, so that we never set aside the most important for something of lesser importance. For example, Our values may be summarized by these terms: Biblical authority, Christ-centered, humilty, compassion, authenticity and grace.
CORE VALUE #1: ABSOLUTE TRUTH
We are committed first and foremost to the absolute authority of God’s Word as the source of all such truth.
CORE VALUE #2: EVANGELISM
Our mission is to lead future generations into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord because the ultimate purpose and meaning of life is to know, glorify and enjoy God in this life and eternity.
CORE VALUE #3: AUTHENTICITY & HUMILITY
We will not pretend to be what we are not, but will always speak and act out of what we know to be true, will admit what we do not know, and will acknowledge the work of God’s hand by grace in all we do.
CORE VALUE #4: STEWARDSHIP
We are committed to efficiency and integrity in the use of all resources that God places at our disposal to carry out His mandate and purpose for this conference so that lives are transformed.
CORE VALUE #5: CREATIVITY
As creatures in the imago deo (image of God), we will not allow ourselves to be stuck in a rut, become self-contented, or settle for less than our best, but will seek diligently to utilize all the creative skills God has measured to us for His glory.
CORE VALUE #6: FAMILY, MARRIAGE, and SEXUALITY
We believe God ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant for a lifetime and sexual intimacy belongs only within the marital relationship of a man and a woman. This was the design established by God at creation (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:19-24) and reiterated by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Matt.19:4-6).
